Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, the upcoming Tamil film by filmmaker Pa Ranjith, has been certified with an A certificate at the Censor Board, the makers revealed on social media on Friday.

The film is set to be released on August 31 in theatres.

Natchathiram Nagargiradhu is set against a theatre backdrop and explores romance ranging from heterosexual to queer. The film will also focus on the caste politics attached to the theme of love. The film stars Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Vinoth, Subathra Robert, Shabeer Kallarakkal, among the many others.  

It has cinematography by Kishor Kumar and editing by Selva RK. Tenma has composed the music. The film is produced by Yaazhi Films and Neelam Productions.
