Trisha says, "I don't have any plans to join politics"

Actor Trisha has refuted the rumours of her entering politics. Over the last few days, rumours were doing rounds that the actor has finally decided to take a political plunge by joining the Congress party. 

Meanwhile, putting the hearsay to rest, Trisha, in an exclusive interview with Ananda Vikatan, revealed that there is no iota of truth in the recent speculation. She said, "I don't know how and from where such a piece of news is arising. I don't have any plans to join politics."

On the work front, Trisha, who was last seen in Paramapadham Vilayattu, has a slew of projects in the pipeline, including Ponniyin SelvanSathuranga Vettai 2, Mohanlal's Ram and The Road.
