Suriya's film with director Siva to go on floors soon?

CE Features

Actor Suriya, who was shooting for director Vetrimaran's Vaadivaasal, is likely to begin work on director Siva's next film on Sunday. According to sources, the pooja for the film, tentatively being referred to as Suriya 42, is scheduled to be held on Sunday.

The big ticket film will reportedly have Suriya appear in the dual role, and the sources hint that it could be billed as a pan-Indian project. Though no official announcements have been made in this regard, rumours doing the rounds in the industry suggest that editor Richard Kevin, who worked in Vikram Vedha and the recently released web series Suzhal, might be roped in for Suriya 42. The speculations also suggest that Devi Sri Prasad will come on board as the music composer, and Disha Patani playing the female lead.

Meanwhile, Suriya, who recently played the cameo roles in Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram and Madhavan's Rocketry, will be next seen in Bala's Vanangaan and Vaadivaasal.
