Tamannaah on board Rajinikanth's Jailer?

CE Features

Speculations are rife across social media that actor Tamannaah has been cast in Rajinikanth's next, titled Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. So far, it has only been confirmed that Kannada star Shivarajkumar will be playing a prominent role in the film. Reports have also speculated about the casting of Ramya Krishnan but similar to the rumours about Tamannaah's inclusion in the project, there has been no official confirmation on behalf of the makers on either of the developments.

According to reports, the filming of Jailer is set to commence this month but an official announcement is awaited on that front as well. If the speculations are proven true, Jailer will mark the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and Tamannaah.

Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, Jailer is Rajinikanth's 169th film, and has music by Anirudh Ravichander while Vijay Kartik Kannan will be serving as the director of photography.

Tamannaah, on the other hand, has multiple films in Hindi and Telugu, including Bholaa Shankar, Plan A Plan B and Gurthundha Seethakaalam
