Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam censored with U/A certificate

Actor Dhanush will be next seen in Tamil film Thiruchitrambalam. While the film is nearing release, it has been certified U/A at the Censor Board, the makers revealed.

The film is slated for release on August 18.

Thiruchitrambalam is directed by filmmaker Mithran Jawahar and produced by Sun Pictures banner. The film also stars Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Raashi Khanna in the leads, along with Bharathiraja, Prakash Raj, and Munishkanth in pivotal roles. Dhanush plays a food delivery executive in the film, while Bharathiraja essays his father role.  

The upcoming film marks Mithran Jawahar's fourth collaboration with Dhanush after Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran. The film also marks the return of the Dhanush-Anirudh combo.

Thiruchitrambalam, produced by Kalanathi Maran under Sun Pictures will be distributed by Red Giant Movies.
