We had previously reported that Sibi Sathyaraj is working on a film titled Maayon. The makers of the film, directed by Kishore N, have now confirmed the release date. Maayon will hit theatres on 17 June. 

Starring Tanya Ravichandran as the female lead, the rest of the cast includes KS Ravikumar, Radha Ravi, Bagavathi Perumal and Hareesh Peradi. The film is produced by Arun Mozhi Manickam of Double Meaning Production, who has also written the screenplay for Maayon that will have music by Ilaiyaraja.

With cinematography by Ram Prasad, the film will have editing by Ram Pandian and Kondalarao. 

Meanwhile, Sibi Sathyaraj has films like Ranga, Ranger and Vattam in different stages of production.
