Actor Pooja Hegde, who is awaiting the release of Vijay-starrer Beast, has revealed the name of the character she plays in the film. In a Q&A session on Twitter, Pooja revealed that she plays a character named Preethi.

Written and directed by Nelson, Beast is an invasion thriller in which Vijay plays a spy. The film also stars Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko, Aparna Das, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley.

Beast, produced by Sun Pictures, is scheduled for theatrical release on April 13.

Pooja was last seen opposite Prabhas in Radhe Shyam. The actor has Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan starrer Acharya, Ranveer Singh-starrer Cirkus, and an untitled film with Trivikram Srinivas opposite Mahesh Babu in the pipeline.
