After Kuwait, Qatar bans Vijay's Beast

CE Features

Qatar becomes the second country to ban the release of Vijay's Beast. Earlier, Kuwait banned the film citing its portrayal of Islamic terror. Looks like a few sequences from the trailer of the film is the reason behind the ban of the film in the two countries.

Earlier, Vishnu Vishal's FIR was banned for the same reason in both countries.

Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, stars Vijay in the role of a RAW agent, who coincidentally finds himself trapped in a hostage situation in a mall. The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Pooja Hegde, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, and VTV Ganesh in supporting roles.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is set to release in theatres across the world on April 13.

The hit songs of Anirudh Ravichander and the trailer have set high expectations for the film.
