First look of Vishal's Laththi out

The first look of Vishal's next, Laththi, has been unveiled. The poster features a bruised and bloodied Vishal donning khaki and holding the eponymous baton. In his background is a high-rise under-construction building, hinting at the film's potential set-up. We also see guns targeting him with lasers. The actor has revealed he is essaying the role of a constable in the film.

While sharing the poster, Vishal wrote, "Yes, I have done many films in the past in different roles, different action sequences with many action directors. but this one is special and an experience for a lifetime with Peter Hein (the film's action choreographer). Here is the first look of Laththi. The constable with a difference."

Billed as an actioner, the film is directed by A Vinoth Kumar, and produced by Rana Productions. The film stars Sunainaa as the female lead. With cinematography by Balakrishna Thota and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film is set to release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The makers are yet to announce the release date.
