RJ Balaji has announced that the filming of his next project, tentatively titled Team RJB3, has been wrapped up. The multi-hyphenated actor took to Twitter to formally announce the development and has revealed that the film's team has finished shooting in 40 days.

"It’s a wrap for TeamRJB3! Thank you, God, my wonderful team, and the people of Coimbatore for an amazing shooting experience. We promise you, one of the biggest family entertainers of 2022," he wrote while sharing a video where he can be seen standing at Coimbatore's Ukkadam Lake Park.

In addition to starring in the film, Balaji has also directed it, marking his second directorial venture after the fantasy-comedy Mookuthi Amman, co-starring Nayanthara, which was released last year.

Reports have claimed that the film is an official remake of the hit 2018 Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer, Badhaai Ho, with Aparna Balamurali of Soorari Pottru-fame reprising the character essayed by Sanya Malhotra in the original. An official announcement regarding the cast and the release date is currently awaited.
