Maanaadu, the first full-fledged collaboration of director Venkat Prabhu and actor Simbu, is gearing up to release on 4 November on the occasion of Diwali. Now, the makers have planned to release a trailer ahead of its release. The promo will be released on October 2.

The teaser of the film, which was released a few weeks ago, revealed the film to be a political thriller. 

Maanaadu has Kalyani Priydarashan of Hero fame as the female lead and SJ Suryah as the antagonist. Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Karunakaran, and Premgi Amaren are other actors part of the film, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
