The horror comedy film, Pei Mama, starring Yogi Babu in the lead role, is set to release this Friday in theatres, makers announced. The film is directed by Shakthi Chidambaram, best known for directing Charlie ChaplinEnglishkaran, and Kovai Brothers.  

Moreover, netizens have pointed out that a new poster released by makers bears a striking resemblance to the poster of Vicky Kaushal's Bhoot: The Haunted Ship.

Pei Mama stars Malavika Menon, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Kovai Sarala, MS Baskar, Rekha, Reshma, and Iman Annachi, among others, in supporting roles. Produced by Vignesh Ealappan through Bakiya Cinemas, the film has cinematography by MV Pannerselvam and music by Raj Aryan.

On the other hand, Meanwhile, Yogi Babu, who is also part of Valimai, has a long line-up of films waiting for release, including Sundar C's Aranmanai 3, Manikandan-directorial Kadaisi Vivasayi, and Sivakarthikeyan-starrer, Doctor.
