The much-awaited Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Doctor will hit screens on October 9.

Sivakarthikeyan posted the update on his Twitter account. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Doctor marks the debut of Priyanka Arul Mohan in Tamil cinema. It also features Vinay and Yogi Babu in prominent roles. The film has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

Doctor was initially scheduled to hit the screens in March this year but was postponed due to the resurgence of the pandemic. Last month, amid rumours of an OTT release, the makers had clarified that the film will release in theatres in October.

Doctor is co-produced by KJR Studios and Sivakarthikeyan Productions. Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan also has the long-awaited Ayalaan and Don in his pipeline, while Nelson is currently working on Beast, starring Vijay and Pooja Hegde.
