It is well-known that comedian Sathish's debut film as a hero is in production. The film is now titled Naai Sekar.

The makers have announced the same through a first look, which was released by actor Sivakarthiyen. Actor Pavithra Lakshmi (of Cooku with Komali-fame) is paired opposite Sathish in her feature debut.

The first look shows a dog holding a leash that is tied around Sathish's neck.

Naai Sekar is directed by debutant Kishore Rajkumar. Produced by Kalpathi S Agoram of AGS Entertainment, the film also features George Mariyan, music composer Ganesh, Ilavarasu, Livingston, Gnanasambanthan and Sriman.

The film's title has been drawn from Vadivelu's character in Thalainagaram. Incidentally, director Suraj's new film with Vadivelu was speculated to be a spin-off film based don't the famous character and it has been titled Naai Sekar. Now, with Sathish's film bagging the title, it remains to be seen what Vadivelu-Suraj film's production house Lyca Productions has got to comment on the new development.
