Speculations are rife that Venkat Prabhu is planning to bring together Prabhudheva and Arvind Swami for his next directorial. The two stars had previously shared screen space in Rajiv Menon's Minsara Kanavu.

If reports are to be believed, Venkat Prabhu is planning to helm his new film as a multi-lingual. Kichcha Sudeep is also in talks to play the antagonist. It is worth a mention here that the director had recently shared photos taken with Sudeep on his social media handle.

Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu starring Silambarasan TR is expected to get a theatrical release soon. The film co-starring SJ Suryah, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Premgi Amaren, Bharathiraja and SA Chandrasekaran is said to be a sci-fi thriller based on time reversal. On the production front, he bankrolled the recent Sony Liv release Kasada Thapara, directed by Chimdu Devan.
