We had previously reported that veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan had penned an emotional note on Kayile Aagasam, a song from Suriya-starrer, Soorarai Potrtu. Now, Suriya has responded to the blog post and thanked Amitabh for his kind words.

While sharing a screenshot of the blog post, the Singam-actor wrote, "Times like these, kind words of appreciation like these, and extraordinary moments like these are the greatest rewards for Soorarai Pottru. So touched, means a lot, sir."

The original blog post read, "The moment is heartbreaking in the film as can be seen in the video, but yesterday it was put in a different context... more real... and it has made it simply uncontrollable for me to stop the tears."

Meanwhile, Suriya has Jai Bheem, Etharkkum Thunindhavan, and Vaadivaasal in his pipeline.
