Mani Ratnam's upcoming biggie Ponniyin Selvan is on the verge of completion. Actor Rahman has completed shooting for his portions. Last day, he took to his Instagram handle to share photos taken with Mani Ratnam and cinematographer Ravi Varman.
Along with the pictures, he has written a brief note in which he described working with Mani Ratnam as a great experience. Rahman also had words of praise for Ravi Varman after catching glimpses of the visuals they have shot so far.
Ponniyin Selvan, which will be released in two parts, stars Karthi, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram Prabhu, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Lal, Sarath Kumar, and Ashwin Kakamanu.
It is produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions. The duology will see Mani Ratnam collaborate once more with ace composer AR Rahman.
