Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin wishes Rajinikanth a speedy recovery

The actor was admitted to hospital yesterday and has successfully undergone a Carotid Artery Revascularization

We had reported that actor Rajinikanth has been admitted to Kauvery Hospital, Chennai for what was said to be a routine check-up. Now, it is learnt that the star had complained of giddiness and following the advice of the doctors, has successfully underdone a Carotid Artery Revascularization.

MK Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, took to Twitter to wish a speedy recovery to the star. "A wonderful friend who has been admitted to the hospital due to poor health @rajinikanth. They hurry to get well and return home," he wrote.

Earlier, a statement from the hospital was released, which confirmed that the actor is likely to be discharged in a few days. The statement read, "Mr Rajinikanth was admitted in Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai yesterday (28th Oct 2021) following an episode of giddiness. He was thoroughly evaluated by the expert panel of doctors and was advised to undergo Carotid Artery Revascularization. The procedure was performed successfully today (29th Oct 2021) and he is recovering well. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital after a few days."

Family members of the actor are currently at the hospital and have also stated that Rajinikanth is doing well.
