KS Ravikumar to direct Elviin, the brother of Raghava Lawrence

CE Features

Ace filmmaker KS Ravikumar will be helming the debut of Raghava Lawrence's brother Elviin. The film produced by Ravindran of Trident Arts and A R Entertainment will have Lawrence playing an extended cameo. The announcement was made today on the account of his birthday.

Notably, it was announced last year that Elviin will be debuting as a hero in a film directed by Raja and produced by Raghavendra productions. The project was expected to go on floors post lockdown. But now the Ravikumar directorial is being projected as the debut of Elviin, implying that the other film has been shelved due to unknown reasons.

Elviin had previously made a guest appearance in the Silatta Pilatta song in Lawrence's 2015 film, Kanchana 2: Ganga. Meanwhile, Raghava Lawrence is busy with his acting committments like Rudhran, alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar, Adhigaram, written by Vetri Maaran and P Vasu's Chandramuki 2, which is yet to go on floors.

KS Ravikumar's last directorial was the Telugu film Ruler, starring Balakrishna and Vedika in the lead.

The cast, crew and title of the Elviin-Ravikumar film is expected to be announced soon.
