According to sources, actor Felicity Jones is set to headline and produce Blood Mother, a feature film currently in development at New Regency. The film will reportedly tell the story of a professor who, to her shock, learns that her infant is not a human.

Reports also suggest that the film will be produced by Kelly Marcel and Steve Zissis, with the latter also penning the screenplay. Marcel's writing credits include Saving Mr Banks, Fifty Shades of Grey, and the recently-released Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Considering the project is still in its nascency, further details are currently under wraps. Jones, meanwhile, has Borderland in her pipeline
