Mani Ratnam unveils the music album of Venmurasu

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam has released the soundtrack of Venmurasu, an upcoming documentary, in a recently held virtual event, the Venmurasu Musical celebration. The event was held to celebrate the work of writer Jeyamohan's Venmurasu, a novel series consisting 26 books and 26000 pages based on the Mahabharata. 

The soundtrack has been composed by Rajan Somasundaram and features the vocals of Actor Kamal Haasan, Singers Sriram Parthasarathy and Saindhavi Prakash. 

Writers A Muttulingam, Nanjil Nadan, and Ravi Subramaniyam were also present at the virtual event. Mani Ratnam called the documentary an innovative feature in art and congratulated music composer Rajan Somasundaram and the team.

Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam is currently working on the Ponniyin Selvan duology, with the first part set to release in 2022.
