The much-awaited first single from Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film Annaatthe is out. Titled Annaatthe Annaatthe, the song is composed by D Imman in his first collaboration with Rajinikanth.

The other highlight of the song is that it is crooned by the late legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. The song starts with a tribute to the singer.

Annaatthe Annaatthe has been written by Viveka. The song was initially expected to be released on 25th September to mark the singer's first death anniversary. But the team delayed the launch as they felt it wasn't the right time for celebration.

Annaatthe, directed by Siva, also stars Meena, Nayanthara, Khushbu, Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, Soori, Jagapati Babu, and Prakash Raj in prominent roles.

The film, which is a rural entertainer, marks the first collaboration of Rajinikanth and Siva. The makers have announced that the film will be hitting screens for Deepavali in November.
