Silambarasan TR-Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu, which was released last week, has won the hearts of audiences and critics alike. Team Maanaadu took to Twitter Spaces to conduct a thanksgiving session.

The event was attended by the cast and crew including Simbu, Venkat Prabhu, SJ Suryah, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Premgi.

Talking about the success of the film, Simbu said, "The success of the film has proved that there are no 'a,b, and c centres.' It is time to stop telling that high-concept films will only appeal to certain sections of the audience. This success is a landmark for Tamil cinema because it will encourage filmmakers to go on with their concepts."

Stepping into the conversation, Suryah said, "This success shows that from 6-60 everyone understands the film. Paati pasangalukku solra kadha maadhri, pasanga ippo paati ku Maanaadu kadhai explain panraanga." Taking a break from his characteristic guffaw, Suryah added, "Kudumbangala connect panra padam-a vandhurku."

Addressing some of the issues the film faced, Simbu said, "Rains, the cancellation of FDFS, what unbelievable support from my fans! I am still emotionally connected to the response of the film."
