Kamal Haasan informs Bigg Boss season 5 housemates about his hospital stay due to Covid-19 and welcomes Ramya Krishnan on board as a temporary host. In a preview clip of the first episode of the weekend posted on Vijay TV’s official Twitter handle, Ramya Krishnan took over as the host and addressed the events that happened over the week in Bigg Boss season 5.

She even asked about the pickle jar that was a hot topic in the past week of Bigg Boss season 5. Fans will have to wait and see how Ramya Krishnan addresses the housemates and the issues that persisted in the house in the past five days.

Meanwhile, an official update from Ramachandra Hospital, where Kamal Haasan has been admitted after being diagnosed as COVID-19 positive, says that his condition is stable. 

A statement read, “After returning from my US trip, I had a slight cough. On examination, it was confirmed that I had contracted the coronavirus. I have isolated myself in the hospital. It is a reminder that the epidemic is not over yet. I request everyone to stay safe."
