We had previously reported that Vijay Antony will be teaming up with filmmaker CS Amudhan of Thamizh Padam-fame for a forthcoming project. The shooting of the film officially began on Thursday followed by a formal pooja ceremony. 

The film was officially announced earlier in April this year, and Amudhan had revealed back then that the film will be a detour from the comedy genre and is instead a crime thriller.

The film will be produced by Kamal Bohra, G Dhananjayan, B Pradeep, and Pankaj Bohra through Infiniti Film Ventures. Further details related to the film, including the primary cast and crew are currently under wraps.

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony has multiple films in his slate, including Kolai, Pichaikkaran 2, Agni Siragugal, and Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan.
