Director Venkat Prabhu has shared that the #Atman epithet was added to Silambarasan TR's name in the credits of Maanaadu, without the actor's knowledge. The filmmaker disclosed the information in an interview with us. 

"It was a surprise for him. We felt that it matches his present spiritual persona. He had asked us not to add any epithet during the making of the film," said Venkat Prabhu. 

Maanaadu is billed as a sci-fi thriller exploring the concept of time loop. The film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead. SJ Suryah, Premgi Amaren, Bharathiraja, and SA Chandrasekaran will be seen in supporting roles.

The film has editing by Praveen KL, and cinematography by Richard M Nathan. It is also being dubbed in Telugu will be released under the title The Loop. Maanaadu will hit the screens on 25th November.
