Suriya, who is basking in the success of Jai Bhim, is next teaming up with director Siva for a commercial entertainer, bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. Now, according to a report on Sify, Suriya is said to be playing a dual role in the film. Also, it is said that the film will be on the lines of Suriya's 2007 film Vel, directed by Hari. 

Another rumour that Siva will again team up with Rajinikanth for a film is making the rounds in the industry. It is still unclear what will be the next film of Siva.

Meanwhile, Annaatthe's box performance is dwindling with each passing day as the film has predominantly received poor reviews from critics and fans.

On the other hand, Suriya will next be seen in Etharkkum Thunindhavan, directed by Pandiraj. The film's shoot is in its tail end, and it is expected to be released by this year-end.
