Bollywood celebrities Kangana Ranaut, Adnan Sami, Karah Johar and Ekta Kapoor are being conferred the Padma Shri today. The ceremony is being held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

The recipients will be felicitated by President Ram Nath Kovind. Late singer S.P. Balasubramaniam, who passed away last year,  will also be honoured with the Padma Shri.

Kangana took to her Instagram story to share a screenshot about the news. The screenshot seems to be from a Kangana fan club.

The post read: "Four times National Award winner Kangana Ranaut to be honoured with the fourth highest civilian honoured 'Padma Shri' on 8th November in New Delhi'.

The government had earlier held the ceremony for the National Awards distribution. Kangana Ranaut and Manoj Bajpayee had won the acting honours, along with Dhanush.
