Rajinikanth discharged from hospital after surgical procedure

Rajinikanth has been discharged from the hospital after he underwent a surgical procedure. The superstar was admitted to Kauvery Hospital, Chennai on October 28 for what was said to be a routine check-up.

The 70-year-old had complained of giddiness and following the advice of the doctors, he successfully underwent a Carotid Artery Revascularization. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Kamal Haasan, and many others from the film fraternity wished the Kaala actor a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth's new film Annaatthe is gearing up for its theatrical release on November 4. Directed by Siva, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena, Khushbu, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Bala, and Abhimanyu Singh. The film produced by Sun Pictures is billed as a rural-based family entertainer.
