A still of Chiyaan Vikram from his upcoming film Cobra was released on December 25 and it features the actor in one of the many avatars that he will take in the film. In the still, Vikram is in the company of the director of the film — Ajay Gnanamuthu. The film is touted to be a psychological thriller and it will mark the debut of actor Srinidhi Shetty. 

The team were working on their final schedule recently. It was expected ot be wrapped up in a couple of weeks. However, it was reported that actor Vikram had to stay in isolation after he was tested positive for COVID-19. Cobra also marks the movie debut of cricketer Irfan Pathan. 

Vikram has a slew of upcoming projects that include Mahaan directed by Karthik Subbaraj. He will collaborate with his son Dhruv Vikram for the first time. It was also announced that the actor will begin work on his film with Pa Ranjith in March 2022.
