If reports are to be believed, Madhavan will be teaming up with director Arivazhagan for a new project. This will mark the first collaboration of the actor and director.

An official confirmation is expected from the team soon.

Arivazhagan is awaiting the release of Borrder which will see him teaming up once again with Arun Vijay after 2017's Kuttram 23.

Madhavan, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of Rocketry which will mark his debut as a director. The actor, who was recently seen in Netflix's Decoupled, also has films like Amriki Pandit and Dhoka Round D Corner in different stages of development.
