Director-turned-producer Vignesh Shivan has confirmed that the Vasanth Ravi-starrer Rocky will be out on December 23.

The filmmaker, who is presenting the film, took to Twitter where he said, "The raw and gritty world of Rocky is making its way to theatres. Rowdy Pictures is proud to present this one-of-a-kind film. Make your way to the theatres and witness the world of Rocky from December 23rd."

The film will mark the directorial debut of Arun Matheshwaran and also stars Raveena Ravi, Rohini, and veteran filmmaker-actor Bharathiraja. With music by Darbuka Siva, the film's cinematography is handled by Shreyaas Krishna.

Meanwhile, director Arun has completed shooting for his second film, Saani Kaayidham that stars Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan.
