Jyotika, who is awaiting the release of Udanpirappe, will reportedly team up with writer Pon Parthiban for her next.

The project, which marks the writer's directorial debut, will be produced by 2D Entertainment. The film will reportedly begin production in January.

An official announcement of the project is expected to be made in September, along with the details of the cast and crew.

Parthiban is well-known for co-writing films like Kaithi, Master, Irumbu Thirai, Kaatrin Mozhi, Bommai, Hero, etc. He is also writing the dialogues for Vishal's upcoming film Veerame Vaagai Soodum. 

Meanwhile, Jyotika recently wrapped up the shoot of Era Saravanan's Udanpirappe, co-starring Sasikumar and Samuthirakani. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in October.
