Karthik Subbaraj's Chiyaan 60 wraps filming

The film is touted to be a gangster drama

The upcoming Karthik Subbaraj directorial, starring Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram, has wrapped filming on Saturday, the makers announced. Karthik took to Twitter to announce the development. "It's a wrap for Chiyaan 60," wrote Karthik, while sharing a picture of a mobile playing Thirunelveli Halwada song from Vikram's iconic film, Saamy.

The film's production house also shared a picture of the film's team after the wrap-up. Touted to be a gangster flick, Chiyaan 60 also stars Bobby Simha, Vani Bhojan, Simran, and Sananth in supporting roles. The film has music by Karthik's frequent collaborator Santhosh Narayanan, while Shreyaas Krishna and Vivek Harshan will be handling the cinematography and editing, respectively.

The film's title and other details are expected to be announced shortly. Chiyaan 60 has been produced by Seven Screen Studio.

Meanwhile, Vikram also has the Ajay Gnanamuthu directorial Cobra in his pipeline, while Dhruv Vikram will be joining forces with Mari Selvaraj for his next.
