Actors Vanitha Vijaykumar and Arjun Chidambaram of Nerkonda Paarvai fame have joined the new film of director Vasanthabalan starring Arjun Das in the lead. 

The upcoming film produced by Vasanthabalan and a few of his school friends under the banner UBoyz Studios stars Sarpatta Parambarai fame Dushara Vijayan as the female lead.

Vasanthabalan's last venture, Kaaviya Thalaivan, came out in 2014 and opened to mixed reviews. The director then teamed up with GV Prakash for the film Jail, which is yet to see the light of the day. 

Vanitha Vijayakumar has Prashanth's Andhagan and Pickup Drop alongside Powerstar Srinivasan in various stages of production. Arjun Chidambaram on the other hand was last seen in the Telugu anthology Addham and he is also a part of Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan.
