The makers of Shero, featuring Sunny Leone in the lead role, have unveiled the first look of the film. Billed as a psychological thriller, the film tells the story of a US-born woman named Sarah, whose life is shaken up during a holiday. The first-look poster features Sunny covered in bruises.

The shooting of the Tamil film was completed recently. Talking about the film, Sunny said in an official statement, "Shero is an important story for me. I resonated with my character from the minute I read the script. Physical transformation was a key part of the film but for me, emotionally syncing into her psyche was as important. I hope the film connects with people, the same way it did with me."

Directed by Malayalam filmmaker Sreejith Vijayan, the makers of the film are planning to release the film in multiple languages across the country. The film has cinematography by Manoj Kumar Khatoi, while Ghibran will be composing the music. The release date and further details are expected to be announced shortly.

Meanwhile, Sunny will also be seen in a Tamil horror comedy directed by Yuvan, co-starring Sathish and Darsha Gupta.
