The makers of Vijay-starrer, Beast, have officially announced the cast members of the film. Sun Pictures, the production house behind the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial took to social media to handle to make the announcement.

While we had earlier reported that Shine Tom Chacko, in his Tamil debut, and Yogi Babu will be part of the film, the same has now been officially confirmed. Interestingly, it has also been revealed that filmmaker Selvaraghavan will also be appearing in this actioner. Selvaraghavan's role, however, remains under the wraps. Other latest additions to the cast include VTV Ganesh, Liliput Faruqui, Aparna Das, and Ankur Ajit Vikal.

Beast features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The film has music by Anirudh and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa. The shooting of Beast is currently underway and reports suggest that the makers are aiming for a Pongal, 2022, release date.
