Selvaraghavan joins the cast of Vijay's Beast

Director Selvaraghavan has joined the cast of Vijay's Beast. The acclaimed filmmaker is widely speculated to play the antagonist in the Nelson directorial.

The announcement was made through Beast's production house, Sun Pictures' Twitter handle. Nelson tweeted out saying that he is looking forward to working with Selvaraghavan, for which the NGK director replied," So excited and thrilled."

Selvaraghavan, who has gained muscles and grown a long beard recently, will be making his acting debut with  Arun Matheswaran's Saani Kaayidham, co-starring Keerthy Suresh. 

On the direction front, he has Dhanush's Naane Varuven in production. He also has announced sequels to his successful films Pudhupettai and Aayirathil Oruvan

Beast, starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead, has music by Anirudh and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa.
