Actor Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got married today at 10:25 am, after being in love for years. Their marriage took place in a private resort in Mahabalipuram, following Hindu traditions. The first picture of the couple, post their wedding, was shared by Vignesh on his Twitter handle. 

Though they had invited only a limited number of people to their wedding, which included top celebrities like Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, and Vijay Sethupathi.

Apart from them, director Maniratnam, director KS Ravikumar, director Mohan Raja, actor-politician Udhaynidhi Stalin, actor Shalini Ajith, director Nelson, actor Karthi, director Vijay, producer Boney Kapoor, actor Sarath Kumar, music director Anirudh and director Siva are also attending the wedding. The couples have reportedly given a unique QR code to the attendees to ensure that only the shortlisted guests are part of the event. 

The entire ceremony has been kept away from the eyes of the media, and it is said that it is exclusively shot under the supervision of director Gautham Vasudev Menon for a direct Netflix premiere.
