Friends: The Reunion - Lisa Kudrow, Lady Gaga wow hearts with their Smelly Cat rendition

Seventeen years since it went off air, Friends, continues to be one of the most loved sitcoms of all time. Celebrated all over the world, the much-awaited Friends: The Reunion finally happened earlier today on a televised episode currently streaming in India on Zee5.

The six of the primary characters of Friends -- Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow -- featured in this special episode that saw a bunch of international celebrities come on the show to talk about their favourite memories of Friends. One of the biggest names to feature in this special episode was singer-actor Lady Gaga, who joined Kudrow's Phoebe to do a rendition of the iconic Smelly Cat number. 

After a few minutes of wonderful music, Lady Gaga thanked Kudrow for making weird cool, and said, "Can I just say, thank you so much for being the person for all of us on Friends. I don't know if it's the right way to say it, the different one or the one that was really herself." Kudrow being Kudrow said, "Thank you. Thanks for carrying it along."

Friends aired from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons. The show is widely regarded as one of the most popular sitcoms.

Friends: The Reunion is currently streaming on HBO Max. Viewers in India can watch the special episode on Zee5.
