Varalaxmi Sarathkumar took to social media to share pictures of her recent meeting with actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Varalaxmi, and her sister Pooja, met the Bachchan family during the shooting of Mani Ratnam's upcoming duology, Ponniyin Selvan.

In a post on social media, Varalaxmi wrote about the meeting, and said, "Despite the families n lineage that they hail from, their humility and warmth was so amazing, I was just overwhelmed with their love.!!! It was so sweet of you to meet us and spend time with us.. may god shower all his blessings on your family.!!!(sic)"

Varalaxmi also thanked her father Sarathkumar, who is playing an important role in the film, for facilitating this meeting with the Bachchans. 

In her post, Varalaxmi spoke about the humility of Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek and Aaradhya. She also thanked her dad Sarathkumar for making this happen. "Thank you daddy for making this happen. I think Pooja Sarathkumar is still recovering from the shock! Hahaha... #Fangirl(sic)."
