Miles Teller to lead Paramount's making of The Godfather series, The Offer

Miles Teller will replace Armie Hammer to play producer Al Ruddy in Paramount Plus' upcoming series The Offer, which recounts the making of one of the most popular movies of all time, The Godfather.

Armie Hammer exited the project in January this year following a series of sexual misconduct allegations against him.

The 10-episode limited series will tell the story of how Ruddy produced The Godfather back in 1972.

Nikki Toscano and Michael Toklin are co-writing the series and also serving as executive producers, with Toscano also serving as showrunner. Dexter Fletcher is attached to direct a few episodes in addition to executive producing the series along with Leslie Greif, Ruddy, and Teller. Paramount Television Studios will produce.

Teller is known for his popular credits like WhiplashThe Spectacular NowBleed for This, and Only the Brave. He will soon be seen in upcoming films such as Top Gun: Maverick and Spiderhead. On TV, Teller starred in Too Old to Die Young at Amazon.
