Netflix anthology Ray to premiere on June 25

 The series is a set of four films based on Satyajit Ray’s short stories

The teaser of Netflix's upcoming anthology series, Ray, dropped earlier today. The series, based on Satyajit Ray's short stories, will stream from June 25.
 
"Four gripping stories. Three renowned Directors. Four top-notch actors. All inspired by Satyajit Ray. Ray, premieres June 25th, only on Netflix," wrote Manoj Bajpayee, who shared the teaser on his social media accounts.

Niren Bhatt has written two segments - Abhishek Chaubey directorial Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, led by Manoj Bajpayee, and Spotlight, directed by Vasan Bala and starring Harshvarrdhan Kapoor and Radhika Madan in lead roles.

Likewise, Siraj Ahmed has penned two shorts both directed by Srijit Mukherji, namely Forget Me Not starring Ali Fazal and Shweta Basu Prasad, and Bahrupiya with Kay Kay Menon,

“A revolutionary filmmaker, an auteur, and the creator of the Feluda series, Satyajit Ray is also remembered for writing some of the best short stories India has ever seen. Vastly varying in genre and style, these stories are full of thrills, twists, and turns, and a strong emotional core keeping you completely hooked till the end,” Netflix had said in a statement.
