Anurag Kashyap undergoes angioplasty, recuperating at home

He was admitted for surgery after complaining of mild chest discomfort

Director Anurag Kashyap underwent angioplasty after complaining of mild chest pain, reports state. He is presently recuperating at home.

As per reports, Anurag sought medical attention after experiencing mild chest discomfort last week. Angiography showed a few blockages in his heart, post which he was immediately admitted for surgery. He is now home and has been advised rest for a week.

Anurag featured in Vikramaditya Motwane’s AK vs AK with Anil Kapoor last year. His upcoming directorial is Dobaaraa, starring Taapsee Pannu.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s new venture Cult Movies, Dobaara is a science-fiction film supposedly built around time travel. It’s co-produced by Sunir Kheterpal’s ATHENA and Gaurav Bose’s The Vermillion World Production.

Anurag had previously directed Taapsee on Manmarziyaan. He was also the producer on Saand Ki Aankh
