Actor Yuvika Chaudhary has apologized for using a casteist slur in a vlog with husband Prince Narula.

The video showed Prince getting a haircut and Yuvika referring to a particular community to compare his look. The hashtag #ArrestYuvikaChaudhary started trending on Twitter after the video was posted.

In an Instagram post, Yuvika apologized for the remark. She said she didn’t know the meaning of the word she used in the video.

“Hi guys I didn't kw the meaning about that word wt I used in my las' vlog I didn't mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that to hurt someone I apologise to each n every one I hope you understand. love you all."

Prince also apologized on Instagram stories for hurting people’s sentiments.

Earlier, an FIR was filed against actor Munmun Dutta for using a casteist slur in a YouTube video.
