CE Features

Jonah Hill will be getting under the skin of famous American lawyer and Hollywood fixer Sidney Korshak for an upcoming limited series. The series, created by director-screenwriter William Monahan, will reportedly tell the story of Sidney Korshak and Lew Wasserman, the former chairman of  Music Corporation of America (MCA) chairman who was once regarded as one of the most powerful men of his times in Hollywood. Monahan's filmography includes The Departed, Body of Lies, and Edge of Darkness.

Wasserman's achievements in Hollywood include liberating actors from the constrictions of film studios and sowing the seeds for the talent agency system that the industry presently operates with. Korshak, on the other hand, was named "the most powerful lawyer in the world" by the FBI, ascribed to his political connections. More details related to the project are expected to roll out in the weeks to follow.

Hill, who was last in the 2019-film The Beach Bum, will also be serving as an executive producer on the series besides Matt Dines, Ali Goodwin, Mark Canton, and Allen Shapiro. The Wolf of Wall Street-actor is also set to appear in the upcoming Netflix black-comedy, Don't Look Up, co-starring Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Rob Morgan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, and Timothée Chalamet.
