Friends: The Reunion to simultaneously stream in India

The one-hour special episode debuts on HBO Max marking the one-year anniversary of the platform

The much-hyped Friends: The Reunion, which is set to premiere on HBO Max in the US on May 27, will be released in India on the same day. The one-hour special episode will be available to stream on ZEE5, the streaming platform officially announced.

The highly anticipated special marks the reunion on the show's popular star cast, comprising of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. The cast will be returning to the iconic comedy's original Stage 24 on the Warner Bros Studio lot in Burbank for a real-life unscripted celebration of the show.

The special will feature special cameos by several celebrity fans of the series, including David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, among others. Ben Winston has directed the reunion episode, which has been executive produced by Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.
