Actor-director Peter Facinelli, best known for playing  Dr Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight film series, has reportedly signed his second film as a director. Titled Headhunter, the crime thriller is set to be distributed The Exchange, known for distributing American films such as Jacob's Ladder, The Stolen, Spree, and The Killing of Two Pals. Facinelli made his directorial debut with the psychological thriller The Vanished which released last year.

Headhunter will follow a twisted murder who sends three detectives on a whirlwind investigation revealing dark secrets and turning everyone into a possible suspect. According to reports, The Exchange will be introducing the film to international buyers at the soon-to-be-held virtual Cannes Market. 

Facinelli's other acting credits include Gangster Land, Freezer, Walter, and the TV series Supergirl.
