Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor-starrer Bhoot Police might take the digital route amid the Covid-19 crisis, reports suggest.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, producer Ramesh Taurani has decided to release the film digitally given the present situation. The upcoming horror-comedy had been scheduled for release on September 10. However, with theatres shuttered and no clarity on when normalcy will return, the makers have opted to release the film online, the report suggests. It quotes a source saying the film is in the process of being acquired by Disney+ Hotstar.

Bhoot Police is a ‘spooky adventure’ directed by Pawan Kriplani. The film has Arjun and Saif playing ghost-hunters.

The makers are yet to issue an official confirmation on the film’s release plan.
