Vijay Sethupathi joins Kamal Haasan-Fahad Faasil's Vikram?

CE Features

Vijay Sethupathi has reportedly joined the cast of Kamal Haasan's Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actor's association with the film has been rumoured since the announcement of the project. Now, sources state that he has officially come on board.

Vikram was last in the news when Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil announced that he is playing a crucial role in the film. It was speculated then that Fahadh had replaced Vijay Sethupathi as the villain in the Lokesh directorial. But going by recent reports, it appears that both actors are in the film, though there is no clarity on who is playing the antagonist.

With music by Anirudh Ravichander, Vikram was initially announced as a summer 2021 release, but the ongoing pandemic and Kamal's political commitments have delayed the production.

Post the TN elections, Lokesh had teased fans by posting a picture with Kamal Haasan in a private jet hinting that the film would go on floors soon. However, there is no word on whether the shooting has begun.
